atmos x Nike Air Max Zoom 950 Unveiled

From the recent Air Jordan 1 CO.JP “Metallic Silver” to the upcoming Air Jordan 3 SE Denim “Fire Red”, Nike is going strong with its Japan-exclusive releases in 2020.

Just days ago, Japanese streetwear boutique atmos has teased an upcoming collaboration with Nike dubbed the “Air Max Zoom 950”. Today let’s look into the model and see what the hype is about.

As a 2020 take on the Nike Air Max 95, the atmos x Nike Air Max Zoom 950 takes the insanely popular 95 silhouette and gives it a slight tweak. Retaining the OG Air Max 95 color scheme, the new upper is constructed by breathable mesh. A hint of yellow peeks through from underneath the eyestay, while the signature curvy detailing comes with gradient effect.

Separating the upper and sole is a black panel that goes from the toe all the way to the heel pull tab. A small Swoosh in bright red sits on the ankle to act as a form of subtle branding.

Underfoot, Zoom cushioning and extra Air units appear in black, providing you with stability and comfort. To top it all off, the Japanese flag is featured on the heel counter, signifying the exclusivity of the pair.
